The Book, the books that nourish me, are at the source of my artistic process. In The little book of unsuspected subversion, Edmond Jabes quotes Emmanuel Levinas "Are the real books not only books? Are they not also the coals that slumber underneath the ashes?"

The generative speech leads us into this wide movement, the unfolding of the text. My proposition is not intellectual, in the sens that it does not stem from a conceptual approach to art. Just as it not obey any intention. It stems from words that fell silent in order to be heard, and feeds from a constant search of knowledge all the while giving free reign to "the poetry that founds our relationship to the world," according to the words of Jabes. To always delve further into knowledge in order to come nearer to it, without ever theorizing. To return to the source in order to better livre in the present and pursue the path of man, after the disasters in our history.

This proposition gave its shape to an installation of steel and leaves of modelled porcelain, stamped with the totality of the Book or Psalms. Executed in 2011, "In the Silence of the Psalms" and its accompanying sculptures were presented in the Collection Gallery in Paris.
